The following calls were answered by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office in recent days.
On July 22, Deputy Toby Mathis responded to the area near Highway 279 and County Road 134 for a report of an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle had been previously red tagged on July 16 by Deputy Simpson. The vehicle was towed by Welch Brothers Towing.
On Thursday, July 23, a man reported six unauthorized uses of two of his Bank of America credit card accounts. The total amount of unauthorized transactions was $373.60.
On July 23, Deputy Toby Mathis responded to the Brown County Jail for a report of terroristic threat. A male inmate had threatened a jailer. Information was gathered and a report was made.
