On July 13, 2020, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 66 positive COVID-19 test results, 180 negatives, 19 recoveries, and 1 hospitalization. There are currently 116 active cases.

Of today’s 66 positive results, 31 positives were residents/employees of the same nursing home facility. The Texas National Guard tested the nursing facility on Saturday, July 13, 2020. There is only one nursing facility with active cases.

The total confirmed positives for Brown County are now 237. The total death count remains at 13, of which 8 were residents of a single nursing home and 5 were not nursing home residents.
