A man from Baird, Texas was killed in a motorcycle accident after his Harley Davidson hit a hog on the highway.  The wreck happened at 11:17 pm Tuesday, June 2, 2020.

According to the preliminary crash report from the Texas Department of Public Safety, Grabiel O. Cerda, 49 of Baird, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cerda was driving a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle and was traveling toward the South, 2.3 miles south of Baird on U.S. Highway 283 in Callahan County.  The motorcycle struck a hog, laid over onto its right side and came to rest in the roadway.  The driver was not wearing a helmet, the report states.
