On Thursday, May 21, 2020, Margaret Ann (Sanders) Hayes, loving wife and mother of two sons, left this earth and joined her Savior in Heaven’s glory. She was 81 years old.
She and her husband retired in Brownwood in 2004. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Her husband, Bob, passed shortly after her passing, joining her on the streets of Glory on Sunday, May 24th.
She is survived her two sons, Rickey Lenn “Rick” Hayes of Brownwood, and Robert Randall “Randy” Hayes and wife Sheri of Whitney; three granddaughters, Nicole Gowan of Keller, Alisa Hayes of Brownwood, and Chelsei Vigil of Waco; four great-grandchildren, Jeremy Hauser, Hayden Hauser, Elijah Key, and Madison Vigil; and two sisters, Melba Harris of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Ramona Conklin of Morristown, Tennessee. She was also blessed with a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Calvary Baptist Church of Brownwood, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, or the Alzheimer’s Association.
