The following calls for service were answered by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.

On May 14, 2019 at 13:26 hours, a Deputy was dispatched to FM 1689 in May, Texas in regards to a theft of property.  Upon arrival, the Deputy met with a man who said an unknown person stole his car jack.  A report was taken.

On May 14, 2019, at approximately 5:45 pm, a Deputy responded to County Road 456 for an animal bite.  The complainant told the Deputy she had picked up a stray cat on FM 1849.  When the woman attempted to give the cat a bath, it bit her on the finger.  An animal bite report was completed.

On May 14, 2019 a Deputy was dispatched to Brown County Jail in regards to two inmates fighting.  Both men were removed from the cell.  A report was taken.

On May 14, 2019, a Corporal responded to an address in May.  A man at the address had been disorderly when asked to leave earlier in the evening.  The Corporal met with a woman who said she had been assaulted at a different address by the man in August of 2018.  A report was made.
