The March meeting of the Brown County Conservatives will take place on March 28, 2019 at 7:00 PM at the Adams Street Community Center. Local municipal candidates in the upcoming May elections have been invited to attend the meeting, speak, and take questions from citizens. To date, both candidates, incumbent Councilman Jerry DeHay and challenger Walker Willey, for Brownwood City Council – Ward 5 have confirmed attendance to the meeting. Invitations have been extended to the City of Early mayoral candidates; to date, neither candidate has confirmed attendance. The public is invited to attend.
In addition to hearing from the municipal candidates, the group will continue work on existing group initiatives.
The BCC is a local conservative group open to members of the public interested in conservative policy and politics. BCC is not affiliated with any political party or organization. Interested individuals are encouraged to join the Facebook group Brown County Conservatives for updates and further announcements.
