The following are Offense/Incident reports from the Brownwood Police Department released on Thursday, March 21, 2019.

Officers of the Brownwood Police Department were dispatched to the 3800 Block of South US Highway 377, on February 4, 2019, for a report of Fraud Finance Statement/Forgery. A report was generated.

On Tuesday, March 5, 2019 Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence in reference to a burglary. Information was gathered and a report has been generated.

On March 15, 2019 Brownwood PD was dispatched to a north Brownwood business in regards to some customers not paying for all the merchandise and leaving which resulted in a report being generated.

On March 15, 2019, Brownwood PD was dispatched to a north Brownwood business in regards to a theft of property and criminal mischief call that resulted in a report being generated.

On Tuesday, March 19, 2019, information was received in reference to harassment. A report was generated and an investigation will follow.

On March 20, 2019, the Brownwood Police Department narcotics division performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2800 block of Southside Drive. During the traffic stop, a small quantity of methamphetamine was recovered from one of the occupants in the vehicle. At the conclusion of the traffic stop investigation, a female was arrested and charged with the possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.

On Wednesday, March 20, 2019 officers were dispatched to the 1400 Block of Austin Avenue for a report of theft. The suspect had left the area prior to officers’ arrival. Officers made contact with a man who was issued a citation for the theft. A report was generated.
