Texas Friendly Hospitality Training is a statewide certification program offered by the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service. It is designed to teach front-line employees and managers alike the fundamental skills and management concepts needed for achieving satisfied and repeat customers, visitors, and guests.
Not just a customer service program, Texas Friendly has evolved over the years to help all who come in contact with the public understand how they can be better, more sensitive, more proactive ambassadors for their community and state. Participants in the program learn tips for managing guests’ experiences; information on hospitality habits and how to improve them; and useful background information about their communities and regional attractions.
This training is open to anyone in the Brownwood area interested in attending.
Each session is free and will provide an overview of the training and its newest features in order to help attendees learn how they can schedule training and put the program to work in their organizations.
A morning session or afternoon session will be available March 5 at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce, located at 600 E. Depot St. Contact Rowonna McNeely at 646-9535 for more information.
