Commissioners to discuss lease for juvenile justice center

The Brown County Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. today. The court will consider and possibly approve allowing county judge Paul Lilly to sign a resolution allowing the Emergency Office Coordinator David Creed to apply for a county fire marshal license with the Texas Commission on Fire Protection and the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. In other business, the court will consider reappointing David Olhausen to the Cen-Tex Rural Rail Transportation District for a two year term; consider and possibly approve a lease for TrueCore at the Brown County Juvenile Justice Center and authorize Lilly to sign the contract; consider action regulating the use of certain fireworks during the Texas Independence Day fireworks season and hear from sheriff Vance Hill, who will offer the annual racial profiling report and also seek permission to accept a donation from Richard and Jeanette Hodges.
