The Brown County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information in a cow theft case. Sometime between March 6 and April 30, ten bred heifers were stolen from the 12000 block of County Road 225. The heifers are Black Angus and Black Angus/Charolais mix and are black or grey in color. Some of the heifers are branded with the number “15” on the left hip and others are branded with a “P” on the left hip. The long line of the P makes an L at the bottom. The brand is a PL connected left hip brand. The heifers weigh approximately 900 to 1000 pounds.
The value of the cows is estimated at $20,000. Any information can be directed to Investigator John Harper at 646-5510. There is another way to offer tips regarding this matter.
