A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a report of an aggravated assault with a firearm. After locating the suspect vehicle, the driver, Bryan Alexander Makuta was arrested for driving while intoxicated – open container. Makuta was also found to be in possession of a useable amount of marijuana less than a gram, 0.9 grams of Alprazolam tablets, 2.4 grams of Methocarbamol tablets, and a pistol used in the commission of the original assault.

In other incidents:

• Roberto Lomeli was arrested for driving while intoxicated with open container after a caller stated a Dodge Ram was swerving on the road, almost striking another vehicle.
• Theft of a firearm on Windjammer Dr.

• A deputy was dispatched to a fraud call. It was discovered that a woman had opened a satellite television account under someone else’s name.

• A deputy responded to BRMC for report of an accidental shooting. The man had sustained non-life threatening injuries to his left middle finger during a shooting accident.

• A dirt bike valued at $1,700 was reportedly stolen from a home on Fishhook Dr.
