A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to a theft call on County Road 411. Steven Howard stated roughly $1,100 was stolen from the May Football Stadium between October 27 and November 2. A report was generated.
In other incidents from the sheriff’s office:
• A deputy responded to Ave. H in Blanket in regards to a theft which had already occurred. The complainant stated Jeffrey Schott and Delores Ramos had stolen a drill and impact driver. The deputy located Ramos and Schott to deliver trespass warnings, which Schott had in his possession. A probable cause search was conducted on the vehicle, which turned up a cut straw with crystalline residue consistent with methamphetamine. The straw was located in Ramos’ purse, along with a pocket knife and digital scale, with both appearing to be covered with narcotics residue.
• A traffic stop was conducted in Bangs for failing to signal. During the stop, the driver, Dante Jamal Perry admitted to having marijuana in the center console. A probable cause search led to the discovery of more narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
• A homeowner on CR 616 reported she had several pieces of jewelry stolen roughly six weeks ago.
