The Brownwood High School (BHS) Band competed at the UIL Region 7 Marching Band Contest at Early High School last weekend. The band earned a first division rating from each of the contest judges. Comments from the judges included the following: Retired band director, Ron Behrends, stated, “Nice sounds from all sections. Overall good job of marching today. I enjoyed your performance.” “Individual and band achievement is high. Overall solid band. Enjoyed the band today – Congrats, All the Best!” wrote Richard Thomas, Fine Arts Director from Belton ISD. Andrew Williams, Brewer ISD Band Director, commented, “Great drill and show, enjoyed it!” “Congratulations to the Lion Band for an outstanding job,” said BHS Band Director, David Lambert.
