District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that a felony case was recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.
Jerrod Scott Cyr pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 30 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Cyr pled guilty to the felony offenses of Burglary of a habitation and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 20 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Cyr pled guilty to two separate felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, Burglary of a Building, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Unlawful Possession of Firearm By Felon and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division in each case to run concurrently.
