Tickets to the Good Samaritan Ministries seventh annual “Empty Bowls Project” are now on sale. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at goodsambwd.org or in person at 305 Clark St. The event will be March 24 at the Brownwood Coliseum from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. All proceeds raised go to help fight hunger. Good Samaritan Ministries have been assisting those in need in the community for several years through various projects including Deer Project, Pig Project, Christmas Boxes as well as many other programs. The organization is always looking for volunteers to assist. If interested, call the GSM offices and they will readily work with your schedule.
