Construction and/or paving of County Road 147 has begun. We anticipate this project to last possibly anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks. Priming and paving is to begin today (weather permitting) and will result in periodic closing of the road to thru traffic. Make plans for alternate routes during this time and allow extra time to reach your destination as the road will be one lane traffic much of the time.

Also, be cautious when in this area as there will be large machinery/heavy equipment along with paving oil/materials. Flaggers/road crew personnel will be present as well. Traweek said he appreciates the public’s cooperation and apologizes for any inconveniences.
