A traffic stop by a Brownwood Police Department Officer in the 2800 block of Southside Dr. led to an arrest for a more serious offense. Ashley Collinsworth was arrested for driving while intoxicated with a child passenger.

In other incidents:
• Officers responded to the 400 block of Mulberry in reference to an assault
• Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Duke St. in reference to a burglary in progress. No arrests were made at the time.
