Reynaldo Salazar, 29 of Brownwood has been arrested after fleeing from authorities during a traffic stop last week. Salazar was found hiding under a trap door in Brownwood. Authorities had received information that Salazar was in a house on Sharp St. As authorities approached the home, a deputy witnessed Salazar run into the home.

A resident of the home allowed law enforcement to enter and conduct a search. Salazar was soon found in a compartment under a trap door. Salazar was charged with evading arrest and on a warrant for failure to appear related to a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Salazar was the occupant of a vehicle which was pulled over October 13th because of a seat belt violation. At that point, Salazar ran from the police.
