The Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2700 block of Country Road 411 Monday afternoon in regards to a male who had been stabbed multiple times.

Once on scene, the victim, identified as 55 year-old Orlando Cundy was discovered to had suffered from several stab wounds to his upper body and head. The victim stated that his son, 26 year-old Jeremy Cundy was the suspect. Deputies learned that an “offer of food”, according to reports, led to the incident. The elder Cundy was taken to an Abilene hospital Air Evac with non-life threatening injuries.

Jeremy Cundy was taken into custody without incident at the May First Baptist Church for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon-family violence.
