District Attorney Micheal Murray reported that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court with Judge Stephen Ellis presiding. Those sentenced were:
• Fabien Lee Ynostrosa pled guilty to the felony offense of driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to 25 years. Further, Ynostrosa pled guilty to the felony offense of delivery of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 20 years.
• John Haustin Simmons AKA Haustin Simmons pled no contest to the felony offenses of possession of a controlled substance-drug free zone and sentenced to four years.
• Bryan Paul Hosch pled guilty to the felony offense of failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements and was sentenced to four years.
• Stevie Lee Rose pled guilty to the felony offense of assault against a public servant and was sentenced to three years.
• Jason Gilbert Guerrero pled no contest to the state jail felony offense of evading arrest and was sentenced to 15 months.
• Luis Adofo Pena pled guilty to the felony offense of possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 15 months.
• Penny Marie Branham, on probation for the state jail felony offense of forgery was revoked and sentenced to 15 months.
• Jeremy Lee Ortega, on probation for the state jail felony offense of possession of a controlled substance was revoked and sentenced to 15 months.
