Police discover someone was thirsty, argument over peacocks

Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Tidwell responded to a call on CR 607 in reference to a burglary of a habitation. During his investigation, Tidwell discovered a television had been removed from a wall and that $1,700 in different liquor bottles had been stolen. No suspect information was available at the time of the report.

 

In other incidents:

  • A National Guardsman reported that a backpack containing important documents had been stolen while he was training at Camp Bowie.
  • Deputy Hopson responded to a call from a woman claiming to have been bitten by a dog. While on the scene, Hopson discovered the woman, Crystal Greene showed to have an active warrant out of pardon and parole. Green was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail.
  • A deputy was dispatched in reference to a dispute between neighbors. The complainant stated the suspect had walked on her property looking for his peacocks. The suspect told the deputy the complainant had an “attitude.” According to the report, a short time later, the suspect returned with two additional subjects which led to a verbal altercation. A trespass warning issued to the suspect.
