District attorney Micheal Murray reported that felony cases were heard in Brown/Mills County Court with District Court Judge Stephen Ellis presiding. Those sentenced were:

• Cody Michael Flores pled guilty to the felony offense of murder and was sentenced to 50 years.
• Joseph Ferguson pled not guilty to the felony offense of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, but was found guilty and sentenced to 25 years.
• Preston Leon Goodner pled guilty to the felony offense of credit card or debit card abuse-elderly individual and was sentenced to 25 years.
• Dakota Michael Cross pled guilty to the felony offense of driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to five years.
