During last night’s 112th annual Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce annual awards banquet, the voice of the Brownwood Lions and KOXE’s own Dallas Huston, was presented with Brownwood’s highest honor, the Groner Pitts “Lifetime of Service” Award. Vikki Firth was honored with the Volunteer of the Year Award. Keith Clark from Citizens National Bank was presented with the prestigious “Man of the Year Award.” .

Others honored last night were, Ambassador of the Year, Lindi Mason; Stuart Coleman Good Neighbors of the Year—Walter “Dub” Wilson, Tom Allen and Lane and Sheila Dryden; Small Business of the Year, Jacobs Family Pharmacy; Medium Business of the Year, Painter and Johnson Financial and Large Business of the Year, Brownwood Regional Medical Center. Also recognized was Professional of the Year, Steve Oines and Woman of the Year, Kim Bruton. According to chamber executive director Ray, last night’s event was one of the most highly attended in the last decade.
