Marshal McIntosh has been appointed as the Special Projects and Communications Manager for the Brownwood Economic Development Corporation (BEDC), effective May 16. Marshal previously served as an Intern to the BEDC while obtaining his Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from Howard Payne University.  In that position he more than proved his capabilities of serving as a full-time manager, so he was the logical choice for this new position. Under the direction of the Executive Director–Economic Development, this position is assigned special projects and is responsible for overall communications with citizens and coordinating public relation programs designed to create and maintain a favorable public image for the City and Economic Development Department.   He performs media and community information responsibilities for the Economic Development Department, including preparation of and writing economic development publications, website management and public speaking.
