Blake Steven Danaher, former soccer coach at Brownwood High School has been indicted by the Brown County Grand Jury for an improper relationship with a student. Danaher was arrested in February and was released after posting a $50,000 bond. The Brownwood Police Department received information through an investigation which began January 31, which led to allegations of the improper relationship between Danaher and a student during the 2013-14 school year. Because of the age of the female, the improper relationship between an educator and student charge is a second-degree felony. Danaher resigned February 1, the day after being suspended by Brownwood ISD.
