Failure to register as sex offender nets six year sentence

District attorney Micheal Murray reported several felony sentences were recently heard in Brown/Mills County, with Stephen Ellis presiding.
The following is a list of those sentenced:
• Jerry Dean Edgar pled guilty to the felony offense of failure to register as a sex offender and was sentenced to six years. Further, Edgar, on probation for the felony offense of Indecency with a Child by exposure was adjudicated and sentenced to six years.
• Robert Rios, on probation for the felony offense of assault family violence-enhanced was revoked and sentenced to six years.
• Charlie Wheat pled guilty to the felony offense of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to five years.
• Andre Dashaun Allen, on probation for the felony offense of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence was adjudicated and sentenced to four years.
• Mobey Cordell Lewis, on probation for the felony offense of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver was revoked and sentenced to five years.
• Deneilus Watt, on probation for the felony offense of engaging in organized criminal activity-forgery was revoked and sentenced to three years.
