April is Early I.S.D.’s official transfer student application month for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year. Texas law provides that students must attend school in the district in which they reside, unless they have requested an annual transfer into another district.
Transfer applications should be completed during the designated time set aside for transfer requests. The transfer must be officially approved by the receiving district’s Board of Trustees. Transfer applications will not be emailed, faxed or mailed to you. To apply, go to the superintendent’s office at 101 Turtle Creek in Early during the month of April between 8a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday – Friday and complete the application.
You will be notified following the School Board’s action on your transfer request. For further information, please contact the Early ISD Superintendent’s office, at 643-4418. On another note, the entire Early School district will have early dismissal on Thursday, April 13th at 1:00 p.m. and will be out for holiday on Friday, April 14th.
