Brown County Water Improvement District Manager John Allen said that the current lake level is 1419.01, which is 6.09 feet below the spillway. The next drought trigger point is 1417.0, or eight feet below the spillway. What this means is that without rain, we are two feet from the next drought trigger point. Currently, our area is under the stage 1 drought contingency plan, which is voluntary conservation.
