BHS Art III students participated in the Region 7 UIL Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) in San Saba on Saturday, February 11.
Students brought back 7 medals from the event that included a scoring system of 1-4 (4 being the highest) for artwork ranging from pencil drawings and paintings to mixed media and sculpture.
The scores received by each student are listed below:
Kye Payne scored a 3 on his pencil drawing
- Keaton Davis scored a 4 on his pencil drawing
- Zachary Dominguez scored a 4 on his mixed media painting
- Bri Rodriguez scored a 4 on both of her paintings
- Gabby Tucknott scored a 3 and a 4 on her paintings
- Laura McBride scored a 3 on her painting
- Jasmine Sotelo-Lambert scored a 3 and a 4 on her paintings
- Michael West scored a 4 on his clay sculpture
